A genus of gram-negative, aerobic bacilli normally found in the human intestinal tract, in dairy products, and in soil.
A species normally found in the human intestine. It has been associated with hospital-acquired septicemia and urinary tract infections.
A species that does not ferment glucose. It has been implicated rarely in lung infections in patients with cystic fibrosis and in other health care associated infections in patients with immunosuppressing or malignant illnesses.
