Maria Brosnan, MSN, APRN, ACNP-BC, FNP-BC, CNE, CHSE
Maria Brosnan brings over 17 years of experience as an Associate Professor at Carroll College. Holding dual board certifications as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner, she is an active member of esteemed organizations such as the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Association of Critical Care Nurses, and Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honors Society.
Maria’s credentials extend to certifications as a Certified Nurse Educator and a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator. Her impressive background includes serving as the Former Director of the Critical Care St. Vincent’s-Carroll College Collaborative Program. Her research interests encompass innovative educational strategies like Student-Developed Simulation, Emotional Intelligence’s role in predicting Baccalaureate Nursing Student Success, and the predictive nature of Resiliency Score in Nursing achievements.
Maria maintains her clinical NP practice, catering to the Veteran community. Furthermore, she holds a significant position as a Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner at St. Peter’s Regional Medical Center. Beyond this, Maria actively imparts knowledge through Advanced Cardiac Life Support courses, benefitting both hospital staff and the community at large.
