Alstrom syndrome

[Carl-Henry Alström, Swedish psychiatrist, 1907-1993]
A rare autosomal recessive syndrome marked by blindness resulting from retinal dystrophy, type 2 diabetes mellitus, hearing loss, heart failure, insulin resistance, obesity, and renal failure.
