Prevention and treatment of thromboembolic disorders including deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), and atrial fibrillation (AF)-induced stroke and systemic thromboembolism. Also used in the management of myocardial infarction (MI) sequentially or in combination with thrombolytics and/or antiplatelet agents.
