By streamlining the content creation process, Assist saves you time and enhances your teaching effectiveness.
2. How can I access Assist within Nursing Central?
You can access Assist from any topic in Nursing Central by clicking the blue Assist icon located in the upper right-hand corner. From there, you can choose to create the instructional material or learning activity of your choice.

Assist specializes in generating NGN-style test questions, designed to reflect the latest NCLEX exam format and help prepare students for licensure.
4. What degree programs and curricular models does Assist support?
Assist supports numerous degree programs, as well as many curricular models, allowing you to select the appropriate model(s) for your institution. Assist accommodates hybrid curriculum models by allowing you to select multiple curricular models (up to three) during the content generation process, ensuring that the materials align with your institution’s teaching approach.

Not at this time.
7. How does Assist integrate with Unbound Scenarios?
Assist works well with Unbound Scenarios, which guide students through case studies with formative and summative activities. While exploring a scenario, you can click on linked topics to create additional materials, allowing you to develop comprehensive assignments or lesson plans based on the scenario’s theme. Further integration into Unbound Scenarios is currently in development.
8. How do you keep bias out of the Assistants’ output?
We use several prompting strategies, including instructions that direct the AI model to exclude patient characteristics that are not relevant to the medical condition. This is a best practice employed by the NCSBN (Riley et al., 2024; Van Der Gaag et al., 2024). In addition, a board of nurse educators with experience in identifying bias review each Assistant.
