American Association of Retired Persons
ABBR: AARP The largest voluntary association of older adults (retired or not) in the U.S., with a membership of more than 30 million. The association lobbies on behalf of its members, sponsors research on aging, operates a mail-order pharmaceutical service and insurance plan, and publishes magazines and other literature for older adults.
