polysomnography
(pol-ē-som-nog′ră-fē)

[poly- + L. somnus, sleep + -graphy]
The simultaneous monitoring of respiratory, cardiac, muscle, brain, and ocular function during sleep. It is used most often to diagnose sleep apnea.
