hyperopia
(hī″pĕr-ō′pē-ă )

[″ + ops, eye]
Farsightedness; a defect in vision in which parallel rays come to a focus behind the retina as a result of flattening of the globe of the eye or of an error in refraction. Symptoms include ocular fatigue and poor vision.
