A genus of parasitic nematodes.
Capillaria hepatica
A parasitic species that infects the liver.
Capillaria philippinensis
A species of roundworm discovered in the Philippines. It causes severe diarrhea, malabsorption, and enteric protein loss in humans; mortality is high.
