Bickerstaff brainstem encephalitis

An autoimmune disorder characterized by acute paralysis of the extraocular muscles, associated with ataxic gait, drowsiness, and extensor plantar reflexes or loss of sensation on one side of the body. It is often associated with the Miller-Fisher variant of Guillain-Barré syndrome.
