Agatson score
(ag′ăt-sŏn)
[Arthur S. Agatson, U.S. cardiologist, b. 1947]
The sum of the amount of calcification seen in cross sections of the right, left anterior descending, and left circumflex coronary arteries (as seen in computed tomography). The greater the score, the higher the risk of future heart disease.
