Arias-Stella reaction

[Javier Arias-Stella, Peruvian pathologist, b. 1924]
A reaction marked by decidual changes in the endometrial epithelium. These changes consist of hyperchromatic cells with large nuclei; they may be associated with ectopic pregnancy.
