Bennett double-ring splint
A metal splint that slips on the finger and limits hyperextension of the proximal interphalangeal joint.
Bennett fracture
An intra-articular fracture at the base of the first metacarpal with dislocation of the carpometacarpal joint due to traction of the abductor pollicis longus muscle on the first metacarpal. This fracture usually requires percutaneous pinning to maintain reduction.
