ophthalmoplegia
(of-thal″mō-plē′j(ē-)ă)

[ophthalmo- + -plegia]
Paralysis of some or all of the ocular muscles. Because extraocular movements are not intact, the patient cannot track an examiner’s finger as it passes from one side of the patient’s visual field to another.
