Child-Pugh score
A rating scale used to assess the severity of cirrhosis of the liver. It includes objective measurements of a cirrhotic patient’s albumin, total bilirubin, and INR; bedside estimates of the patient’s alertness or confusion; and radiographic evidence of ascites. Also known as Child-Pugh-Turcotte score.
