Covid arm, Covid vaccine arm

A colloquial term for an injection site reaction that occurs about a week (2 to 12 days) after vaccination against SARS-CoV-2 with messenger RNA vaccines. It consists of pink, swollen plaque formation with local itch, warmth, and tenderness. The reaction is not considered to be a serious adverse reaction, is not an indication of cellulitis, and does not contraindicate subsequent doses of the vaccine.
